Understanding Chronic Liver Disease in Children

OBJECTIVES
- Identify liver diseases that present including NAFLD, Biliary atresia and cholestasis of the newborn.
- Review manifestations associated with each disease.
- Review when to refer to pediatric GI.
- Discuss treatments and outcomes.
The Session will take place In-Person/Hybrid. A very limited seating is available for the In-Person session to be held at the Cool Springs Sperry’s Restaurant at 650 Frazier Drive, Franklin, TN. The In-Person session includes a complementary dinner and wine. Following the May 3rd In-Person session a recorded version of the presentation will be made available to anyone who is unable to attend. CEU credit is available for the recorded version if completed by the end of May 2023.
The first half-hour will be a networking opportunity followed by the presentation from Saeed Mohammed, MD, MS. The presentation is expected to last 1 hour and will be followed with a question and answer discussion session. All times are Central Daylight Savings Time.
Q & A will be available at the end of the talk.
